my brand new academic web site

I've started to prepare an academic website on the university web space (http://www.music.mcgill.ca/~marui). The fact it took several months to even start making a site is that I didn't know that I had to ask tech people for even setting up an account. Maybe I'm too much used to Computer Science department and having an account from the beginning of the first semester. Anyhow, this is a music department and we don't need serious servers like Solaris working for us. It seems like the tech people are using only two Fedora Core servers, one for file server and one for web, mail, ftp, etc. From this, you might say that we are not using computers, but in fact, we use file server everyday for storing recordings. This is why 1000Mbps connection becomes handy.

Back to the topic of my new website. The site will be entirely constructed using PukiWiki. English translation is still in progress with the latest version (1.4.5), and many of its functions do not work in English. But I changed the character encoding to Unicode and it looks okay for now. The hope is that a malicious one doesn't alter my page...
